Respecting the traditional urban block structure is manifested through buildings on vacant lots facing Křenová Street; the designed buildings complete the street front and accept its vertical structure. The building facing Křenová Street closes the block in the area of the main axis of the street; the street façade has a more generous, slightly decorative character, depending on the existing building, which is the most valuable right here in the context of its surroundings.
Within the overall concept of the completion of the multifunctional block, it is a high-rise building that occupies a privileged position. It is located in the central sector of the courtyard block. It is a building of a stronger height character, which upon reaching the level of the surrounding buildings, offers a wider view of the city and following landscape panoramas. Beveling the top towards the centre and its dominant features softens the perception of a building object from a natural perspective of pedestrians.
The design combines two basic ideas: first, the use of the specific atmosphere of the industrial neighbourhood of the city (the adjacent facility of the Šmeral Company), which translates into a loft solution to most residential units, and second, it corresponds with the intention to least partially ennoble the neglected and slowly decaying area of the city, which undoubtedly deserves its attention.
